The official launch of the new Visitor Discovery Centre took place on 30th November 2018. The Visitor Discovery Centre project is a collaborative initiative involving seven local authorities. The project team included Cox Power Architects, PF Costello Quantity Surveyors, MBS Mechanical Electrical Consultants with Kenaidan Contractors Ltd as main Contractor.

Sunday, October 21, 2018 15:00 16:00 David Power of Cox Power Architects will lead a 1-hour tour and presentation that will focus on the conservation work at Saint Mary’s Church. It was one of the first concrete churches in Ireland and the largest in Connaught when constructed. Date of construction: 1932.
